A reading culture is an excellent way to install knowledge and develop valuable human resource. According to Cambodia Socio-Economic Survey 2014, Cambodia has second lowest literacy rate in ASEAN 

countries after Lao PDR.

Around 29% of the total population lacked basic reading and writing skills.

Cambodia is a youthful country, 32% aged 10-24 years and 71% of youth were not in formal education, according to National Youth Development Council (NYDC 2021) in Cambodia.

Youth challenge jump in job market. Only 31% of the youth have jobs that qualification, while 46% undereducated (OECD 2017).

Increasing technology and smart devices also affected heavily on children and youth. Too much time spent on smart devices and internet they access is causing problems especially children development including sleep issue or insomnia, physical health and so on.
