From September 1–4, 2022, the One Book One Community (OBOC) campaign participated in the Education Fair 2022 held at Olympia Mall, Phnom Penh. The event brought together educational institutions, libraries, publishers, and youth organizations, creating an inspiring environment that promoted learning and reading among students and families.

At the OBOC booth, the team presented the campaign “One Book One Community – 25 Provincial Libraries for Children”, which aims to strengthen community-based libraries and promote reading access for children across Cambodia. Visitors were encouraged to support the campaign through book and material donations or small financial contributions—starting from just 100 riels per person—to help equip community libraries nationwide.

Throughout the four-day fair, OBOC members interacted with hundreds of visitors, including students, parents, and educators. The team shared information about ongoing literacy projects, volunteer opportunities, and future reading initiatives. QR codes were available for easy registration and donations, and participants received small souvenirs as tokens of appreciation for their support.

The event successfully raised public awareness about the importance of community libraries and collective action in building a reading culture. It also strengthened collaboration between OBOC, educational partners, and the private sector in promoting access to books and learning resources for all.
