On October 9, 2022, the One Book One Community (OBOC) team participated in an Education Seminar under the theme “Leadership and Transformation in the Education Sector in the Digital Era.” The event was organized by Westlife Education Group and held at the Phnom Penh Hotel.

The seminar brought together educators, students, and institutional leaders from across Cambodia to discuss innovation, leadership, and technology’s role in shaping the future of education. OBOC joined as one of the key exhibitors to promote reading culture, community libraries, and youth involvement in literacy development.
At the OBOC booth, the team presented its ongoing initiatives, including the campaign “Together promote reading in our community ”, and shared how digital tools and community collaboration can strengthen reading engagement among youth. Educational materials, storybooks, and campaign souvenirs were displayed to attract visitors and encourage participation in upcoming OBOC activities.

The event provided a meaningful platform for OBOC to connect with educators and students, highlighting how leadership in the digital era should also include a commitment to building a strong reading culture and lifelong learning habits.
Through this participation, OBOC reaffirmed its mission to promote access to books, empower communities through knowledge, and inspire the next generation of readers and leaders in Cambodia.
